Hi everyone! I just was given a 1976 (i think) 20' Argosy, front dinette model. The interior is in not bad shape, I think it is certainly worth restoring. Unfortunatley the outside was painted silver at some point with what looks like it may have been a paint roller (person will be hunted down and dealt with in time) I am in the business of mobile RV repair and always love a challange so I am looking forward to spending the next couple of years restoring this classic. Tell me am I crazy??

Welcome to Air Forums NW.

Before you get deep into restoration, you have to learn first how to post pictures on this site. We LOVE pictures!

Photos before I start.

OK as per request these are the before shots of our new project, now we just have to figure out where to start! Actually at this point it's just me the wife hasn't got on board yet but she will, she always does. She is my partner in life and also in business so it won't be long once she sees I'm going to follow through with it.

Welcome and congrats on the Argosy. Looks like you have the start of a great project.

Good luck,

It looks the paint applied via roller did not stick to the end caps any better than the original paint did!
Good luck and keep at it!
