Vintage trailer supply has the lenses and led4rv has the LEDs for interior or outside.

A quick fix for floors that are damaged but still pretty solid is one of the epoxies that penetrates before it sets. VTS carries one brand but there may be other brands carried by local hardware stores.

To all;

Thanks for the info and suggestions to this point. We have the safe tow, new A/C and most of the plumbing done now. I do want to replace the flooring in the unit and would like to use a vinyl plank type of flooring if that can be done in an RV. I have most of the plumbing problems fixed, just waiting for some 5/8" to 1/2" copper reducers. Who uses 5/8" copper anyway? I still need to redo the shocks and check the actual operation of the range, oven, furnace and water heater as I have not tried them myself. Any suggestions for those operations other than far away from the house and several fire extinguishers handy?

Anyone have a part number for the shocks? I will need to replace all 4. 3 leaking, one making puddles.

My wife would like to redo the curtains on the front wrap around window. Does anyone have a good modification to suggest for that? Let me know and thanks. We're getting excited about pulling it somewhere!!!

Go to Inlandrv.com, then to "chassis, frame, running gear", part number 12416. I'm sure other have them as well, but take note, the shocks are specific to Airstream and some Vintage Kin, they are made to be mounted near horizontal. Don't try to substitute a shock other than the ones specifically designed to be mounted horizontally.

If your shocks are leaking, then your axles may be next. The rubber torsion axles are only good for about 20 years, and the shocks are purpose-built for the airstream-argosy line.

Vintage trailer supply has the window slide T's.
