Question Need suggestions for a radio/cd player.

We have a 1978 Argosy and would like to install a radio/cd player.
We like to dry camp with a solar panel, so would like a reasonable 12 volt that doesn’t run down the battery. There are wires running for the one that came out – don’t know if they are original. We’ve tried a battery operated radio with a wire to the antenna, but it we get very few channels compared with the truck radio.
What would be a good choice? Any suggestions will be welcome.

I am using AM/FM/CD/cassette radios from Toyotas in each of my trailers. I like the big, well labeled buttons for ease of use. I have each hooked to a "Wally Byam" antenna from Vintage Trailer Supply. Reception is very good, in fact better than from either of my Toyota vehicles. Current draw is not too bad. Radio = 1.07 amps, CD = 1.30 amps, tape = 1.15 amps. There is a very minor draw at all times for the channel memory.
Hope this helps.
Sam

Thank you, Sam. Sounds good - we'll look into that.
