Need advice to refinish the tub and sink

I was all set to get the Por 15 White Coat then wondered if its the right product. My local supplier is making me second guess now. He is saying that if its fibreglass then a two part epoxy will be OK and I dont need Por 15.
So I called POR 15 and they tell me the white coat is a urathane (I thought I read it was an epoxy) and *should* be OK On plastic or fibreglass.
I looked under my sink and see no mat weave to indicate its fibreglass so I will have to assume its plastic, so the two part epoxies are out I guess.
Is there an alternative to POR 15 Whitecoat, can any urathane product be used or will Por 15 give the best results?

Thanks folks!
Edit: I have searched and read a variety of threads on the subject but have yet to find an answer to what to use (or rather not to use) on each material.

Por 15 has a product that is for marine applications. If you go to their web site you will see and can choose from a selection of colors. I used it on my 68 safari bathroom and it turned out excellent. There are pics here in the forum just look up my post.
Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

And is your bathroom ABS plastic or Fibreglass?
By the way, thanks for responding.

You might look at this thread. I believe he used POR15 on the Argosy and the bath is ABS. Most of them are ABS, by the way.

Argonaut20, not sure you sent me to the right thread. I can't find a reference to Por15 in there at all.
I do still want to find out if there is an alternative to Por15 Whitecoat. I found another metal treatment that looks like, smells like and acts like Por15 rust treatment, it even sticks to your skin the same! Time will tell if it is as effective the point is it was quite a bit cheaper.

Contact the author of that thread (balgrn??) and ask him. He did a lot of work on Argosy trailers and he did mention using POR15 in one of his threads. If I remember correctly, he was really impressed with the toughness of the coating.

Thanks!
I think I will just go with it and not bother trying to find a "comparable" product.
