Link for new fold up bunks

Here's the link for new fold up bunks for campers & travel trailers. These are not original, but they would probably work in an Airstream if you didn't mind a little modifiaction.

Wow! That looks like a great resource...have you seen them in "real life"? I love to get a report from whoever is first to actually install them - people are always looking for the old bunks - this would be a great substitute!

I did a very quick Google Search and found these, there were several suppliers with various prices. I've seen a similar set in a Toy Hauler/Enclosed Trailer. They seemed to work pretty well. Another thought is to see if a Toy Hauler/Enclosed Trailer Dealer has a set for sale.
If I keep my Argosy, I'll probably buy a set....there cheaper than I was priced for a used set from another Argosy.

I was doing some measuring and my kids old set of metal bunk-beds were a perfect fit where the Gaucho used to be. They are standard single/twin metal bunk beds from Ashley Furntiture. (I did cut each bottom post off 4 inches so they would slide neatly under the upper cabinet molding above the windows). I'll post pics soon.

I kicked the futon I had in place of the front gaucho to the curb and I'm going to buy a used RV style couch for the left side wall.

Bunk Beds

I did a little measuring and my kids old set of bunk beds fits easily in place of the gaucho/futon in my Argosy.

(I'm going to put a couch along the wall, my trailer was empty so its easy to remodel, lol)
