Labor day at the beach w/new TV

After 25plus years of dependable service the old tug is worn out. Bought a new 07 chev silverado 2500hd LT Duramax/Alisson 6spd trans(I'm sooooo spoiled now). The trip was sublime, no problems and cushy. Spent 3days at the Tidelands again. My buddy with a minuet came along and a few tent friends. Here's a link to photos.

Looks like Fun! Brings to mind a hitch question

Hi! Just wondering what you are using for a hitch setup on your new TV? Hope you will enjoy many more trips to the beach! Thanks for sharing your pictures. Carol

Being a little biased....
I love the new tow vehicle!
I work at a GM plant as a Controls Engineer so that may have something to do with my opinion.
The new Silverados are well thought out and well built. I am sure you will get years of fun and reliability from the truck.
Tell all of your family and friends how much you like your new truck.

The D/A sure rocks...we haved towed 2 seasons with ours and it contnues to impress. I can't imagine a better platform for towing.

Karma your way for sharing!

Thanks to all.
The trailer hitch is a DrawTite with 10,000lb distribution bars. The truck tows so stable no need for sway bar.
The TideLands is on Copalis beach on the Washington coast. Here's a link.

The new Silverados' are truly cowboy cadillacs. A real joy to drive.

I know I sure love my new one!
Although, mine is more like a "cow poke's Pontiac"!
