I had not seen your Minuet until today (somehow the post slipped by me). It DOES look nice. We have the 6.7 Minuet (going toward our 3rd yr. now) and have loved it from the moment we saw it. Of course, they end up having issues (ie, repairs) no matter how well kept they have been. We, too, are beginning to deal with replacement, repair, but we have had the wonderful experience of camping in our "Mini Moonunit" now several times. I hope you will soon have that joy and excitement. Please keep posting on your progress, its great to compare notes w/other Argosy owners and hopefully we will all get a chance to meet in person some day.

Go to campgrounds with bathhouses. A little inconvenient but don't miss a whole season. There are lots of AS where the "toilet has never been used".
Great looking unit. Go show it off.

Yeah, I've recommended that. My six year old boy and I would do fine. However, the wife and eight year old girl say they need a pottie.

Of course, we've been anticipating the tank to arrive "any day now" and so we keep putting off a camping trip. Probably should reconsider and just do it.

The kicker is we have reservations for Disney World in October.

You would be amazed at how nice the "potties" are in some of the full hookup camp grounds. Using one of the campground books like Good Sams or other well known ones can help a great deal to place the 'better' ones. We stayed at a really ritzy one outside of Zion NP last summer, very clean w/laundry, pool, sauna, jacuzzi, playground, dog run, and full service store for all necessities. We used the showers there and other than having to pay .25 for 5min. (our teens ran that up a bit), it was easy and pleasant. Just more food for thought - plus then you don't have to worry about finding a dump station! Gives you more time to enjoy the new acquisition while learning its quirks. Food for thought.

This is the wife of Moonshot. It's not the potty or lack thereof that's keeping us from camping.....I'm having the pleasure of working weekends now (Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights) and that schedule kind of cramps the camping style since hubby and kids work/school during the week.
