We just bought a 27ft 1979 Argosy in California that needs a lot of work, but was only $6,000. We will have to spend about $5,000 getting the non-cosmetic things repaired. We plan to do all the interior work except for the fans and electrical/propane lines. We will probably be in it for about $15k when finished. This seems very overpriced.

I have had two 1970's Airstreams, a 64 Avion, and now have a 1977 Argosy 24. With the wide body and panoramic windows the Argosy's are a much nicer trailer then any 1970's Airstream. They have more room and the pano windows let in so much more light then the same year AS.
