Interior wallcovering

Hi. I have a kind of strange problem. For me, this is not new, but I thought i would throw out this question and see what happens. My walls seem to have a gloss-white finish with no normal texture like I have seen in other Airstream/Argosies. It seems to be very old, it may be original, for whatever reason. Does anybody else have this unusual finish on their interior walls? Just to clarify, these are the walls that go to the outside, not interior separator walls.

I have the same white walls in my 1973 20' as you have described. They are nice, but are not fancy in any way.
