I need help!

I have a 76 Argosy 28. There is a switch in the middle of the wall above the stove. I can't find what it is for. The range hood controls are in the cabinet so my first guess was wrong. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Mr D

switch

We have a winner!!!!! My mother in law is great, so I guess I'll keep her. I think the water pump answer is probably correct. I'll have to wait a few days to get back to camp to be sure. Thanks for the help. Mr D

If my memory serves me correctly, when the switch is one way you can use the air condtioner. When the switch is the other way you can use the microwave. It is a switch that won't let you use the microware and a/c at the same time.

On our '65 Caravel that switch controls the water pump. On our '83 Excella it is the Microwave/AC switch.

I appreciate the replies. My Argosy did not come with a microwave so that is ruled out. The water pump is not being used so I think that is what it is. Thanks, MrD

On the 22 there is a white rocker switch near the fridge vent on the same side of the stove that controls the water pump. What color is it and is it a rocker, toggle, or twist switch, or a photo would be helpful.
If the switch doesn't seem to do anything and your pump doesn't work check the pump fuse at the pump, the 22 had a 5 amp slow blow fuse.

Good Luck

My fridge is on opposite side from stove. The switch is a rocker on-off switch. The only thing I have that is not working is the water pump and that is disconnected at present time. I'll check the wire to it. I really think that's what it is. Thanks to all for the responses. MrD
