I dropped off the Argosy at the Painter Today!!!

This is my trailer. I bought her in July.

I have replaced the axles, rewired the harness, extended the gaucho, and reupholstered the beds. I dropped it off at Corona Air Paint today.

I cant wait to see her in a month.

I haven't totally decided yet. I have a week while they prep her. Some similar to what is on there now.

I've always thought if I had an Argosy I'd have it painted to match the tow vehicle ... or would at least make it a two tone using the vehicle color for one of the colors.

Whatever you end up doing, let us see it when you are finished!

I also have thought it would be fun to have an Argosy for fun paint choices. Looking forward to seeing your choice and results.

Saw a beautfully restored Argosy last year polished like an Airstream but the steel end caps were painted as a South Carolina state flag. South Carolina blue with a white palmetto tree and crescent moon. It was totally outstanding.

It's going to be $6,000. that is to strip the paint, do some body work, seal a bunch of holes from missing awnings and seal the windows and door that are leaking.

I am thinking about these colors

It looks like a warm grey and teal green on my screen which should look very good together.

My wife would chose a burnt orange color, ( southwest ish) if we had kept our 6Metre that's the way we would have gone, new paint always looks good. Much easier to care for than aluminum too.

Grey and teal are peaceful and beautiful. If it was me though, I would be thinking of my alma mater colors, garnet and black.
