I'm trying to drain the tanks and lines in my 26 foot Argosy. PO had written on inside wheel-well "to bypass hot water close rear two taps and open front tap". There are 3 valves off the hot water tank (2 up top and 1 on bottom). In the back closet where my battery sits there are 2 valves back there that already appear to be in the closed position yet I ran hot water last time out.
There are two pipes coming out of the water heater. Follow those two lines from the water heater back to the first valve you come to on each. Close those 2 valves and open the third.
So I've diagramed it out and I believe I now understand it assuming the top port on the hot water tank is the exit for heated water and the lower one is the inlet for cold. Does this look correct?
