Holding tanks in 6.7 Minuet

We haven't tried any of the plumbing on our new baby yet, waiting for freezing temps to go away. I have been reading some of the past forums-am I understanding that waste water from the shower just drains onto the ground??

What is the capacity of the black water tank, assuming it's original?

Hello and welcome to the FORUMS. You Minuet has a small but capable gray water tank that collects the wastewater from the shower, kitchen sink, and lavatory sink. The black water tank is approximately 9 gallons.

Silverhobby, just to clarify - the shower water from the 6.0 Metre (like mine) goes straight out, while the shower water from the 6.7 Metre actually does go into the gray tank?

6.7 m. Minuet 1978 Argosy

The gray tank in our Minuet is above the floor which places it above the drain in the shower. The shower drain ties into the sewer drain downstream from the tank valves and exits through the coach's sewer drain to a blue tote, (or into the sewer outlet). In the glory days of the Minuet it was acceptable to let the gray water go on the ground, therefore it DID NOT go into the gray tank.
