Holding tank Question

Hi All!
Can anyone tell me about the holding tank in the rear on my 20' 1977 Argosy, is it steel, aluminum or plastic?

Most likely plastic.
Went to see Andy at InlandRV yesterday to pick up my axles, and the ones i saw insde some of his works in proress were plastic.
The one in my 71 is plastic.

Holding tank Question

Greetings Gary!

Both the gray and black tanks in my '78 Minuet 6.0 Metre are plastic, and the above floor mounting method utilized wood wedges to secure the tanks in place on the floor - - so far as I have been able to determine, there were never any metal straps used to secure the tanks (it is possible that there might be strapping on the extreme ends of the black tank as it has never been completely removed since I purchased the trailer - - just exposed to repair some leaks).
