help - dent/wrap around window....

Hello to all -
So, my little blue egg (1977 Argosy Minuet) is looking like it's hatching. This is what happens when towing with a 16' box truck, without realizing one needs an extension on the hitch. This is the curbside wrap-around window. (I replaced the other wrap around this spring due to a rock.)

To my (humble) knowledge, the only structural damage is the u-shaped aluminum beam that runs at the base of the window. Well, it was U shaped. Hopefully, these images show what I've done.

So - winter is coming, and I'm on the road for the next few months - this is home. It doesn't seem to me that this beam could be fixed very easily - it's buckled on one side, split in the middle. Wouldn't it be easier to replace? I've thought of just cutting it out (carefully, no sawz-all here...) Could any machine shop/auto body shop create a new beam for me if I brought in a template?

Due to being on the road and a lack of time, I've contemplated making a wooden replacement, even understanding the downfall of this.

Its plumbing/water heater is broken. It's got a terrible paint job that I sort of like. Its small when one considers I'll be on the road for 8 months with the full crew of wife, two dogs and two cats. The sewage dump is in the worst placement that I could think of. Now it needs a $900 window (with rivets and shipping, and time that I don't really have). It's also in good shape inside, is a Minuet with an aluminum floor, and is paid for.

I'd love any thoughts on the repair, and in general!!

AchK! Horrors! Are you sure you don't want to change your signature line?
This kind of job is way over my head - anyone have any useful input for a repair?

Not too pretty, eh? Even bad enough that not many want to post! Life is still good... challenging, but good...

Our funky little Argosy has gotten too funky... Really have contemplated a new(er) Airstream, but considering I do art shows, really like that this is paid for....

What About A Body Shop... If You Can Get The Interior Panel Off First This Will Save You Some Money... You Could Have The Front Panel Straightned... Then Remove That Body Molding From The Trailer .... Fill The Rivit Holes With Rivits ... That Body Molding Is Not Structural ...
