Heater Register in bath?

After seeing several pics of Airstreams with heat registers in the bath I am curious if Arogsy trailers had them. My Argosy28 only has registers by the front entry in the cabinet next to the furnace and under the roadside twin. Under that roadside twin there is additional heat plumbing one tube for the holding tanks and the second I assume should be for the bath.

Does anyone have heat in the rear bath?

My 1971 Tradewind did not have any heat in the bath. However, my 1963 Overlander did. The 71 had a wet cell bath, the overlander has a dry bath.
Why don't you try and follow the ducting, see where it leads?

I did find that one of the tubes (the smaller one) comes back up up in the bathroom around the tub, under the toilet and sink cabinet and ends in the univolt and water shutoff valve compartment. My thought is to extend that tube and install a register at the bottom of the closet.

At the risk of sounding stupid...what the difference between a wet cell bath and a dry bath?

In a wet bath, you step into the shower pan as soon as you enter the bath.
The toilet and sink are mounted so that when you take a shower, everything usually gets wet to a certain point.
A dry bath is just that, it has a regular floor, and a shower somewhere, or a small tub, and a separately mounted toilet and sink.
Dry bath are often split up, toilet on one side of the hallway, shower on the other, or in rear bath models, there's usually flooring between the tub and toilet etc.
Wet bath save space in smaller trailers for more room up front, dry bath are larger, lend themselves to bigger trailers, as a general rule.

Thoe heat ducts are to help keep your water pipes and holding tanks from freezing in cold weather. I would reconsider altering this arrangment, and maybe run a seperate duct back to the bathroom, if you really want one, and there isn't one there yet.

My '75 Argosy 28 center twin rear bath does have a register at floor level near the door in the bathtub trim. I think it originally had a tee here with a second line that went to the tanks, but that one is not present in mine. Having done some winter camping in that trailer, I can tell you that heat output at the back of the trailer is puny. You'll want to invest in a small ceramic heater for that. (A 1500W job will keep the bathroom toasty down below freezing.)

Hi, Darryl,

The ceramic heater? Sitting behind the aft utility closet to the right of the sink and plugged in to the razor outlet behind and to the right of the bathroom mirror. On mildly cold nights in Atlanta, I'd pull the front accordion door closed and the ceramic heater would keep the rear half warm enough to sleep running half the time. In really cold weather, I'd run it wide open with the furnace on, but I had a paranoia about checking the cord to see if it were getting hot. (Electrical problems on the Argosy kept me paranoid.)

The furnace? Under the stove/oven in the kitchen just to the left of the entry door. This would be a good place to put a catylictic heater in place of the front vent. That's what my Excella has, and I found out in Toledo back in March that with a couple of windows cracked (and a new battery in the CO/Smoke detector) that I could sleep comfortably on the gaucho at 23 degrees outside with the furnace set at its lowest setting and the cat on high. (I also learned not to walk in snow in flip-flops even for a short time. Heel cracks, unknown to folks in south Georgia, take a LONG time to heel.)
