Question Hatch Light

Can the hatch light bulb on a 74 Argosy be replaced by removing the little plastic covering on the front?

If you mean the light over the front door, I think you need to remove the screw holding the assembly, located at the top, unless, like mine, there is no plexiglass lens, then the access is thru the front.

Thanks Rogerdoger. Yeah its the front door. I climbed up and took a closer look and it appears that you are right, looks like I'll have to take out those two small screws. We'll see what happens after that. Thanks again.

The little steel screws will most likely be rusted/corroded into the cast Al light cover. Another stupid design error, but one we have to live with. Best of luck removing them.

Send a message via Skype™ to Zeppelinium
replace the screws with stainless. I had to grind off the screws on 2 out of 3 over-door lights to get them off. Z

PS--don't forget the third screw towards the back edge.
