I have a chap calling me back in a day or two. He has many parts available and is going through my list to confirm what he can supply me.
Apparently he is a retired RV wrencher, having worked for the local A/S dealer when there was one in Calgary.
saburkha, which window is it and I will ask him if you like.

I've broken a left front curved window and a side living room window on my '69 International. Front break happened on the first trip I took after removing the rock guard. Needless to say the guard was repaired and reinstalled ASAP when I got home! The side window break happened in San Antonio. Never did learn the reason (it occurred while driving). I taped plastic over it for the 1000 mile trip home.

I repaired the left front window with Lexan. It was time consuming but turned out well. I ordered a new side window from a dealer in St. Louis. Can't remember the name as it has been more than 25 years ago.

I wanted the other side which he does not have. But he told me he does have that side. What do you want to budget for this? I just bought the screen door (ours is missing) for $100.00 cad which I thought was OK, last one I tried to get was $350 US

PM Me is probably better then we can chat about postage etc.

Wrap windows cost almost $900.00, not installed.

New clear wrap windows have not been available for many years. It's tinted, or nothing.

We're talking about used clear windows.

Wrap Around Window Needed

Guys,

I just bought a 1974 24T and need a curb side wrap around window. Does anyone have one to sell me or know where I can get one?

Thanks
Dave Anderson

I've had a windshield broken by a rock that fell off of a trailer full of lawn equipment towed by a guy ahead of me in another lane (I saw it happen). You guess whether that can easily happen to your A/S windows too.

Early Airstreams used wing windows, not wrap windows.

Wing windows are about 14 inches wide, and wrap windows are 40 inches wide.

Parts stocking dealers would usually have the wing windows, but no longer the double pane version as they are now obsolete.

Waiting for another seller to get back to me on some parts and I am pretty sure they will have one. I am hoping they will sell me the trailer, (I tried to buy it last year but they beat me to it and were going to renovate it but changed their minds I guess) then I can part it out for the forum. I tried last year with another person, even saw all the parts. But now they dont reply to my emails. Funny, because THEY ASKED ME to buy the parts!
If I have any luck with this one I will respond here in the next few days.

Is it me I wonder? Twice now I have offered to buy parts from folks and they never even bothered to get back to me after first communicating their willingness to sell. The latest being the folks with the trailer to part out. This last one:
I saw the ad and responded.
They asked for a list.
I gave one.
Then.......nothing.
Now I get no reply to my requests for an answer. I shall give it a few more days then conclude this boat is yet another dead end.
