Got a rock guard on!
Whee! I feel better about taking the Argosy out on the road now, we have our (slightly used) new rock guards on those precious front windows! Isadora is cool to the max with her new sunglasses!

Congratulations! The feeling is great when you get something done that has really been bothering you. And I agree: I like the "shades" look of the rock guards. So now you are ready to head out...somewhere...There and Back Again. ~G

I bought the (used) rock guards for my 1977 Argosy 26 footer from a AS wrecked trailer. They haven't been installed yet.

That's how we got ours--at Colaw's in Missouri from wrecked Airstreams.

One of our forums members (driftwood) has a new set for his Airstream, which he has sold, if anybody else needs a set.
Norm, if you sell them, please let me know so I can edit this post...thanks.

Good job.
I just quoted a guy the price for one of those windows. Ouch double Ouch Ouch Ouch Ouch Ouch
I tell people about it all the time. It is a pricy window, and hard to replace.
Get those windows protected.
Dan

Why is it that so few folks around here like to state dollar amounts?
So what did the used from Colaws Rock guard sell for?
Did you all pick it up? or have it shipped?
And did Colaw remove it or do you remove your own pick-a-part?
Did it have every necessary piece of hardwre and fasteners?
Glad you found it.

You'll be mad.... But I got a good deal... It's not polite to talk about money.... After all it's an Airstream... It takes the bucks to fix it right and keep it rolling...

It was about half the pice of a new one, we picked it up because we only live about 20 miles from there, they took it off and we got all the hardware, we made sure of that.
So, Brad, I missed an s when I typed it, it should have been rock guardS! That is the only typo I have ever made.
