Frustrated

Worked all summer and into the fall getting the "painted lady" ready for our first long trip. Every system was new except for the fridge. Someone had a Dometic 10 yrs old. It worked well so it was installed. Worked well in the trailer. Ice and everything in surprisingly short order. Departed 1-14 turned it on 300 miles down the road and nothing but blown fuses. Bought cooler.
I've pulled it out and nothing works. Turn the thermo dial and that's it.
Does anyone have any ideas? I hope I'm just missing something silly. Getting it to work on 110 is all I need. Skip the rest.

If the problem happened while running on propane it should still work on 110.
Try this link.

RV Mobile, RV and Gas Refrigerators

These folks are experts in RV fridges and have a tech help section, a forum and sell parts. They are very helpful and should be able to pinpoint your problem

Good luck

If you're handy at following instructions, here is the link to the Dometic Refrigerator Service Manual. It helped me troubleshoot my dead fridge. Very in depth. Lots of paper used if you decide to print.

Where is the fuse located that keeps blowing?

I'm on the road using an iPad. Will get to a library if I need to download a print copy. The only power source I want is the 110. Very rarely will I need 12v or gas.
It blows the 30 amp fuse in the main breaker box.
Thanks for the replies will be working on them in an hr or so.

The blown 30 amp fuse will likely have nothing to do with the Dometic refer.
But it's easily checked.
Unplug the Dometic. Plug into 30 Amp.
Does the breaker/fuse hold?
Plug in the refer. Does the breaker trip (or fuse blow)?
You probably have something else going on.
So, run the refer on propane until you solve the 30 amp issue.
You can run on propane as long as you have 12 Volt DC from the batteries to run the refer control panel.
Hope this helps.
Ask specific questions if you like.
