Front Rock Guard
We are looking for the front rock guard to go over the windows on our 73 Argosy 20. We do not want the Airstream one, but rather the three part one made for the Argosy. We would be psyched if anyone knew the skinny on where to find one (sorry, I felt the need to throw some youthful slang into this forum).

It's the same Rock Guard as the one that goes on the Silver trailers.
Three piece about $700 plus installation if you need it.
You can buy them from a dealer, or Airstream parts store.

Ditto to what Gary said. However, the center panel will have to be modified to fit the narrower width of the Argosy. I got mine on e-bay from Airstream - lightly used - in great shape - for half the usual price...

Regular Argosy trailers are the same width as regular Airstreams. No cutting or narrowing will be needed.

We got ours salvage for our 76 Argosy at Colaw's in Missouri.......one of the side windows and the center came off an Overlander, (if I remember right) and the other side window came off a Bambi. Same windows, they are interchangeable. No cutting or adjusting was necessary. If you buy them used be sure you get all the hardware that goes with them!

Gary, do you know how I could fix a crack in one of my rockguard Plexiglas panels? ? I don't want it to spread any further and I don't want it to look like a large bug hit the window.
Thanks ,
John

Your Argy will take the same rock guard as mine, which was the same as other Airstreams. It was about $1200 installed.
You only need to narrow the center rock guard if you have a Minuet.

Drill a hole in the plexi at the end of the crack.
If it's the center flat piece, you can easily replace the panel with a piece of smoke colored Lexan.

Sorry to bump an older thread. Was out at the trailer this evening and thought about this and if I could even find a window in case something happened to one of them.
I don't assume the folks at the favourite Airstream salvage yard ship to Canada, if there even is one in stock? Outside of "WTB" ads on Kijiji, not sure where I'd find one closer to home.

Where is YYC Alberta. I have travel extensively throughout Alberta and British Columbia. Don't even recall seeing it on the map.

YYC is Calgary International Airport. Like YYZ is Toronto, and so on.
I guess you CAN live at the airport, like in that movie...!

My understanding is that the panoramic windows from newer trailers fit, but they're smoked glass rather than the nice clear glass used in the Argosys. Either way, they're expensive and a lot of work to install.
