Thumbs up Found another Minuet 6.0

Call it insanity, but I am buying another Minuet 6.0 - a 1979 this time. I don't think I can miss at $1800. Outside and inside look pretty good, owner says all appliances work, water system checked out, AC blows cold.Needs some cleaning and polishing, probably tires, maybe brakes. My wife says to fix this one up and take it to the 2007 Rally as a sale item.I'll post more when I pick it up in two weeks.

Cool! Now all you need is a 77 model.

Let's have a polishing party: I'll supply the trailer and buffing supplies. BYOB (bring your own buffer)

Found another Minuet 6.0

If your wife really makes you sell it, then let me know, my wife said I can buy a smaller trailer for my trip to Alaska. I would prefer a Minuet, but may have to settle for a 20ft Argosy.

Argosy 20 vs. Minuet 6.0

What's the difference between the Argosy 20 and the Minuet 6.0?

size difference

I believe the minuet is 6 inches narrower than the 20. It was only built 77-79. I believe there are several changes that made it lighter including a aluminum, styrofoam, aluminum sandwich floor instead of plywood. There are probably others.
I have a 77 & 78 looking for a 79.

The '79 is decorated quite differently from the '78 that I have. Anyone else have flowered patterns in the shower panels? Upholstered valances over the windows? The grey water tank is under the floor (or is missing...) and supposedly larger (15 gal vs 10 gal). The floor is plywood rather than the aluminum sandwich, but seems solid. This is a model with the front gaucho rather than the dining table. The paint is original and shines up nicely with a little elbow grease. Appliances work, but there are some plumbing issues and (likely) brake issues to deal with. I'll try to post some pics a bit later.
