I finally figuered out how to replace the end panels in my Argosy kitchen. The old ones were cracked badly. My husband made new wooden panels, took off the roll-up doors, replaced the end pieces and remounted the rool-ups. Then I covered the end pieces with vinyl wall covering that we bought to use on the back wall. Then I put the vinyl I bought for the belly stripe on the edges. We have been looking for flexible molding and had little luck. I think this is very 70's.

say, what did hubby use for stock? you just said "wooden"...that panel next to the fridge looks like some sort of 3/4" stock...in my '73, those panels are not even 1/4"...probably more like 3/16ths. don't think there'd be room for such a wide piece. but it looks good!
Looking good! Do the new ends stick out more then the originals? The reason I ask, as I have become more follicly challenged, my head has become a magnet for all sorts of objects. I have smacked the bottom of a few of the overheads in my 75.
