entrance light
I have been looking for the light that goes over the entrance door on my 73 Argosy 22. I have looked everywhere I know but can't find a new one. If anyone knows of a new or used one please let me know. Tom

Do you want the cover or the socket, or both?

Tom.
Less than 10 percent of our Airstream parts are listed on our web site.
We prefer to talk to our customers, on the phone.
The casting is # 65931
The socket is # 65933
The bulb is # 65935

They come up on ebay once in a while or you might try calling Ryan at RV Salvage Parts Airstream Trailer Interiors Restorations Collision Repairs . He parts out old Airstream's & is fair to deal with.
Good luck,
Colin

If you have to do any work at all on it I would go LED See the current thread converting spotlight to LED. There are some good ideas there about the entrance light
There are now LED bulbs that fit right into the old socket.

Hello. Dan at Led4rv has an LED replacement for the entrance light and also a sealed LED scare light, both are listed on his web site.

Thanks for the reference. I just checked it out. Is the scare light you refer to called a 'Patio Light' on the site? Have you done the swap?
Also, I have OEM square ceiling lights about 6" square with 4 way switches. Those LED replacement bulbs are pretty expensive. Anybody have any suggestions on a cheaper LED upgrade?

Thanks for the replies. I think I' order the casting and socket tomorrow and wait for the lights until I know how many I need. I'll probably change all the interior bulbs. Tom

Hello Lumatic. Yes Dan calls the scare light a patio light. I have installed both the patio light and the entrance light over the door and love them. The patio light comes in both bright and warm white, I got the bright but that was just my preference. The patio light is all sealed up and comes with a new gasket, so all you need to do is remove three screws remove original glass cover/gasket then put in new gasket then plug in cable, set in new light and replace the screws.
Dan is a very nice and helpful person to talk to.

I used the square led panels that are sold on Ebay to replace the bulbs in my ceiling lights. I believe I used 3 or 4 of them per light.

Do you think I would still be able to use the 4 way switch to control brightness?
