Out of Doors Mart has photo's of the lock assembly on their web site. Exploded views as well.
Did you find a screw for the inside lock?
If you have it out of the door it should be relatively easy to determine what is not working.
Are you saying the door doesn't lock from the inside or the inside door handle doesn't open the door?

Actually I have never tried the lock itself but the latch works on the outside but not the inside.

Are you sure the inside handle is not just rotating on the shaft? There is also a roll pin involved with the operation of the inside handle. The inside handle rotates a shaft that has a pawl on the end. The pawl pushes the bolt shaft via the roll pin to retract the bolt.
If you go to the Out of Doors Mart web site and find a photo labeled 3045_5(1). It clearly shows the roll pin and pawl assemble for both the inside and outside handles. The inside handle mechanism is on the left.

I picked one up today (machine bolt/screw) and screwed it in as per TGTwinkie, above. I put a little loctite thread seal, so we shall see how secure it ends up being. At least I now have a working lock again.
Thanks for the info.

Bex

Anyone here know how to get the lock assembly out of the door? My internal lock pin snapped off and i want to try and remove it but dont think i can without taking it out because the grabit tool yo extract the brokeoff section doesnt reach into the hole where the snapped pin lives.

There are 2 screws on the inside of the door and one on the edge of the door near the bolt. You may have to drill the rivets out which hold the seam together at the center of the door in order to remove the lock assembly. Of coarse you will also need to remove the inside handle.
