Wow, you really did do yourself in on this one. Have you managed to clean it off? Much to my wife's dismay I used lacquer thinner aggressively to clean it off. It did take some serious rubbing and then some and it was several days later that it was all gone. I now wear a very old pair of coveralls and long tight rubber gloves. It gets very hot and uncomfortable but it works to keep most of the POR off. Good stuff though.

What is it with guys and PAINT - Peter does the same thing, gets more paint on himself than the item he is painting...

Good luck with that removal - may as well just run out and get yourself a pair of evening gloves "Marvina" until you skin goes through the sluffing off stage

I was going to wear a long sleeve shirt that day but it was so hot I just couldn't do it. It will wear off in a few days or weeks not many people see me in the trailer working from morning to night.

Yesterday I got the stabilizers painted with por 15. They look really good, just going to leave them black.

Looking good!

You two are amazing. And I know this isn't your first Argosy rodeo. I don't know if I could tackle a complete resto, much less twice. Everything looks great.

The floor is bolted down to the outriggers, painted and the water heater is back in it's place. I just mixed a couple cans of paint I had in the basement and this is what came out. I wanted something I can draw lines and figure where we are going to put everything.

LED marker lights?

Hi Happycampers! Great reno job!!! You will have a great rig!

Where did you buy those great LED marker lights? We have a '75 22' Argy that is in need of new marker lights.

We've used POR before - a tip for painting in hot weather where you don't want to wear the long sleeves - if you can get Pink Solution (sold out of NO Vancouver) - you can make the "heavy solution" and spray it on exposed body parts & let dry - it acts as a "body glove." When finished with the painting, wash off & most of the paint spatters will come off.

So, are you guys taking the rig south when the snow flies?
