It is amazing how much you can get done while sitting in the CG's in the evenings as well when it comes to the little things that need finishing.

Enjoy your hard earned holiday. Looking forward to pictures of the trailer on the road.

Barry

Thanks Marvin & Annie, the refurbishing of your Argosy was a very good read.

If you have finished the inside now, do you plan to post some more photos of the insides for us to see?

cheers,

Aage in Aurora

The kitchen has been finished for a while, only lacking the sink covers to be complete. They are finished now and shelves under the sink and other places I could find to make shelves.

Lookin' Great

Hi Marvin and Annie,

Looks great!

We very much enjoyed meeting you at the Lake Champlain Campground... We were the ones in the Classic MH that you helped to park. We enjoyed our evening chatting with you. Your baby just keeps getting better and better!

Thanks again,

Kathy, Tex and Wags

A few weeks ago we went to the Chicago area to the Zip Dee Company to get awnings installed. I was very surpriised when I asked what they used for sealer, they said silicone and that is all they have ever used on Airsteams or any other trailer or motorhome. Here are some pics.

I agree, those awning colors really look sharp! Inside does not look too shabby either. Well done guys.

Really getting close to the finish of Costalotta. Finished the closet doors and table this week and we are leaving tomorrow morning at 8:00 for Florida and then to Texas after the first of the year. I will be posting the total cost in my next post.

Talking All done

It has been a long 2 years working on this trailer, we didn't plan on doing as much but you know how that goes one thing leads to another. Every moving part and appliance has been replaced except the stabilizers and water heater which is only 11 years old and the person we bought it from who owned it for 9 years didn't use propane, she was scared of it.

We have $27,339.45 including the price we paid for the trailer and many many hours. 1373 hours working a lot of days 12 and 14 hours trying to get finished last year. Annie has worked many hours at the hospital to pay for all the parts and material put into it.

She ask me if I would do it again and the answer is no. I don't regret doing it and Costalotta is a nice trailer but no more.

We hope everyone has enjoyed this thread. Thanks for all the compliments as we progressed along.

Marvin and Annie

I saw this post many times but never read it. I read it tonight because I "inspected" this unit at Can Opener 2009. What a great job, hard to describe but the attention to detail is very evident, not to mention the obvious pride of the owners. Beautiful trailer.
