Coleman Mach 3 on a 1975 24'

We are putting a used Coleman Mach 3 air conditioner on a friends 1975 24' Argosy that has never had an air conditioner installed. The drain pan that came with it has a hole on each side to let the condensate water run down the roof. Is there a special drain pan or a kit we need to hook up the factory drain line that we hope to find when we cut the hole in the roof? Any other tips for doing this install would be much appreciated also. Thanks Brian

My Mach 3 had a drain pan that looked like it was made for the unit from Coleman. However, Airstream makes a generic pan that will fit under the unit that will catch the condensate and funnel it to the drain in the vent assembly (14x14" hole in the roof). If your Argosy has no drain installed you are going to have to let it run off the roof or install one which is probably not what you wanted to hear.
