Can I fix tail light assembly?

The tail light assembly made of plastic or fibreglass? has cracks and is loose at the bottom. Can I repair the cracks, or should I just dump it and install tail lights in the AS body like the 1979 & newer Argosy. Thanks in advance for help and opinions.
Also, the "Argosy" nameplate is missing, and I can't find a replacement.

The tail light panel is plastic and easily repaired.
I have an Argosy logo for you.

I repaired a crack in the waterfill tube using a piece of thin cotton cloth and epoxy.
Works fine and is very strong.
Easy to do, even 5 min epoxy would probably work if you can work it into the cotton quickly enough with a putty knife on something flat. After sanding lightly the parts of the plastic the epoxy will adhere to lay the cotton saturated with epoxy onto the sanded area.

I used kitty hair body filler on the underside for strength and regular bondo on top to fill the cracks. I added two "L" brackets to the underside of the surround to support it and attatched it to the body.

The ARGOSY logo is yours for free . It was given to me by another member on the forum so I am compelled to do the same. I am in Sacramento, so if you are in the area any time you can pick it up and see how I attatched the tail light housing. If not , just the cost of shipping.

I believe that the tail light panel is made of ABS plastic like the fridge roof vent and inside end caps. This can be repaired with ABS glue used to glue plumbing fittings together. Or you can make your own glue by melting cut off pieces of ABS in acetone. I just fixed my sink and the inside end caps that had cracks in them on my 77 Argosy. I also glued the fridge vent cover crack and now it is as strong as original. Brian

I think your idea of brackets is a good one. kitty hair body filler?? not familiar with that one.
I will pm my email address, you can give me ship $$ for logo. Would like to see your Argosy, but no plans for Sac in the near future.
