Brake shoes and bearing seal source needed.

Hi, As I am getting my new '73 20' Argosy checked out I finally got to the brakes. Can anyone recommend the best(cheapest) source for brake and bearing parts? Also, what exactly do I have? I know that they are 12" drums but who is the manufacturer and is this exactly what the Airstreams ran in '73 also?

Thanks loads!

Just about any auto parts store would have the parts you need. You could also try a trailer parts store but it would probably cost too much.
You have probably have either Kelsy Hayes or Dexter brake assemblies.
Try NAPA or one of the other non-discount parts stores. Find one that has people who know about vehicles, not just button pushing, discount dealing, no account losers. No... No grudge here.

Any parts store that sells trailer parts, even a marine trailer dealer, should have the parts for your brakes, as they are basically off-the-shelf items.

Any NAPA, CarQuest, Bumper To Bumper, etc. should have, or be able to get, the parts you need. Failing that, any RV service center like Camping World should be able to get the parts you need.
