Ya'll guys use some lingo about axles that i dont understand as of yet. Can someone give me the basics of what to look at on this one i am about to purchase on the axle portions only? Unloaded axles etc? Not sure what that means?
I have lusted after the airstreams for years, but this argosy is pretty cute. Or it will be at least!!
If the axles are original 1977, the rubber is most definitely shot. The axles are rated by weight. Depending how much extra weight is added because of your remodel, would determine what you would need.
I bought mine from Colin Hyde. But you could also get them at Inland RV. Both of whom are here on the forums. Shop around. Talking to them is your best bet.
