There is really only one manufacturer who has been a constant in supporting repair parts over the long-haul for Airstream product awnings, and that is ZipDee. My Overlander had an A & E Travel Awn that was an absolute nighmare to keep repaired as A & E stopped supporting the specialized parts needed for the curved sides of Airstream products -- I finally had my Airstream dealer measure the coach and order new curbside as well as bathroom window and bedroom window awnings from ZipDee -- no regrets after nearly five years, and based on past history, I am confident that I will be able to get replacement parts when needed even if it is a decade or two from now. You can find ZipDee at:

The ZipDee may be a bit more expensive initially, the quality makes up for the additional cost (IMHO).

Good luck with your awning selection.

Smile type of awning

I second the motion on Zip-Dee. I installed a patio Zip-Dee on my 1977 Minuet and it was a snap! Took about 1/2 hr w a little help from my neighbor. The directions for installation were well written and they have telephone trouble shooting. Have owned 11 Airstreams most w Zip-Dee but some w Carefree awnings and Zip-Dee is superior in all respects. A little pricier but well worth it.
