780 represent!
I am just west of Edmonton, and picked up my Argosy in St.Albert a couple of years ago. let go of a little surfside (fiberglass) and still am accepted into their circles and camp outs, though the potential camping with other argosy's kinda makes me giggle with childlike anticipation (think ed grimly from sctv...*its a Canadian thing*).
I have one question before I post my id.
what is the difference between the double bed and the twin bed?
I have a lovley 1979 minuet, the dinette is a bed, and the couch pulls down into a bed. but there has been a lot of awesome modifications by the last owner.
also... I would like to post some pics on my profile. any hints on how, I'm kinda new at this but love the community.

The 6.0 Metre Minuet was only produced as a Double floorplan (unless an exception to that generalization appears as it often does with Airstream/Argosy) as the front lounge as well as the front dinette convert into what was considered to be a double bed.
Good luck with your Minuet!
Kevin

There were a couple listed on kijiji that I responded to. No answer yet. Didnt think there would be, to be honest.
Ours is still in renovation mode and thats been held up the last year or two so still no camping for us just yet.

thanks overlander for the info, your knowledge is vast and priceless.
bex and last open road, has anyone looked at the minuet in wetaskawin? its a little pricey, but looks to be in great condition. seen a larger argosys in nearby fields with smashed windows and rough exterior, aggressive dogs in yard didn't make me want to get out and inquire. if there is a need for parts, i guess i could try harder. minuet size fits my style just fine.
cheers

Not yet, but most likely in the next few days. I am taking some time off and generally will be staying at home.

I could use a drivers side front curved window if its intact. I tried to buy one (an Argosy) in Three hills but he sold it to someone in Grand Prairie. They put it back on Kijiji and I tried to buy it from them, but they decided against it. I have room for one for spares, just got to hide it from "SHE, Who Must Be Obeyed"

Hi Janel.P
I bought the Argosy Minuet in Wetaskiwin last month, but didn't pay anywhere near the asking price.
We were concerned we had paid too much, but after researching on Air Forums and looking at all the work and new stuff the PO put into the trailer, it seems we got fair value for our $.
Just an idea: given the price of new and used parts, perhaps BEX, you and I should follow up on some of these wreck sitings. My problem is space, living right in St Albert.
Cheers,
Will

You never pay too much when you are comfortable with the price you paid.
I have no problem with investing in a junker. But I get first call on the drivers side front window!
There was one on the Michener Allen auctions a couple of weeks ago.
We have 3 acres so space is not an issue.
Cash on hand for such a purchase might be a little problematic though!

Hey 247
Just my way of showing my appreciation - and respect - for all the fine people that keep the A-F up and running. It's become an incredible resource for me.
BTW, it appears from your Argosy VIN registry that the preponderance of Argosys thus far has been Minuets. Does this mean they're the most popular ....or just the most common???? (just kidding)
Cheers,
Will

You can add ours: 1979 Minuet 7.3. VIN 2D9V6116. .... We've got the forward lounge and aft lavatory ... 2 pull-out full size beds. A work in progress!
