Argosy, or no?

I have a '78 Safari 23-footer that I am going to sell. I found a mint 24-foot Argosy trailer that is pretty spiffy.

My question is this: will I have trouble selling it if I want to get out of it later. I don't care one way or the other, but does the Argosy name deter some folks.

I'm thinking no.

Nope. It'll sell quickly. It's just a slightly different market group. Actually, since the Argosy trailers had lower production numbers than the Airstreams, they're more rare!

Argosys are great

Hello.. We have had a Tradewind.. and we are on our 3 Argosys. We prefer the painted Airstreams .. Argosys.. great to work on.. and just a great paint job and no polishing... .... We have not had any problems selling them...

I think Argosys are great! They have those big wrap around windows in front - I hope to have one myself someday If it's in good shape, you should have no problem selling it down the road.

Argosy features abound. Many items on the Argosy were "proving grounds" for AS modifications. AS tired out the panoramic windows first on the Argosy. The painted exterior is easier to maintain than the shiney aluminum of the AS. I'm not prejudiced. I own AS, Argosy , and other aluminum riveted trailers.

I have both and I love both, but the 24ft Argosy is sooooo cute. I am going to look at an Argosy in Austin, this week-end. It belongs to a pilot and I would be happy to give you his information or even come look at your find if you need help. Since you are already an AS owner, I guess you probably don't need help inspecting a trailer; however, if you want to see a beautiful example of a renovated Argosy, I have pictures of the one I am going to look at in Austin. Email me or PM me with your email address and I can send them to you. Here are pictures of how to make your Argosy look new. Hey, it's easier than polishing.

Argosy rules!

The design, the tambour, the wrap windows. Who could ask for more?
