Argosy furnace duct (missing?)

Please notice the small “nipple” extension (X) on the main duct system.
Was it left this way from the factory or is a section of duct missing?
I have considered attaching some flex and routing under the pots & pan shelf
to provide more heat to kitchen area.
You don't have to remove the oven. It should be visible by looking thru the storage door.

Would someone look at theirs and let me know?

There is a piece of flex hose missing. It should be routed down towards the waste tanks to keep them warm-ish.

Your duct system looks a bit different than the one that was in my 1976.

The nipple is probably for ducting the holding tanks but it looks small. My flex duct down was about 2 1/2’ or 3”.

In case it helps, here are shots of the original heating system before I decommissioned it.

Janet got me exploring for the other end of tank warming ducts.
Our 34footer has a duct disappearing into the floor so why not the Argosy?

After a closer inspection I could see the 2.5” duct going thru the rear bath closet.
Removing the curb side twin mattress & plywd. base helps expose the continued metal duct and a flex duct going into the gray tank area and the other over to the black.

Removing the vent and peering inside (down on the floor), the origin of the two connections can be seen.

So… the waste tanks are being taken care of and that leads us back to under the sink & the capped off connector.
Until we know for sure it will be used as an extra supply to the kitchen area.

I cleaned the walls and wheel well covers on both sides and discovered the PO had added fiberglass insulation board under the plywd. for each twin platform. Don't kow how much it helps but it is nice to find something by a PO that was more positive than negative.
