Argosy 6M wheel well damage
Hi this is my first attempt at posting a new thread with pictures so here goes. I have a 77 & 78 6 M Argosy. They both have wheel well damage under the kitchen sink. What is the cause and what is the fix.
Thanks
Bob
Li key the damage is one or both things; The lightweight design using a thin experimental plastic, or a blow out in the past life of the trailer that caused the damage. Of course these are just educated guesses on my part...

Thanks for the input. Let me better explain. On both Argosys the thin white sheet metal is is cutting into the wheel well. Like the wheel well is either coming up or the counter top is going down. I have not taken the wheels off to see if there is damage from a blown tire.

Hi!
We don't have the same size Minuet, so our layout is different. But we found the aluminum floor in our Minuet had a few places where the supports for the counter tops wore through the top layer of aluminum which allowed them to drop as much as a half inch, causing some wrinkles in the wall panels. This might cause the metal cabinet structure to contact your wheel well. You might pull back the carpet. Our fix was to jack up the counter to original height and put a piece of stainless steel over the hole in the floor and attach with rivets.
Good luck!

Thanks for the input. This might be the problem as the calking on the back edge of counter top on the 78 definately misplaced and the counter top is cracked. I'll pull the carpet out and check. I'm planning on putting a laminate wood floor in the trailer anyway.
