Argosy 30 with helper

My Grandson turned 4 today so he was helping us tear out the old flooring in our new camper. He is a great helper. As I posted earlier we got our "new" Argosy 30 and so far it looks very good. Several of you suggested various approaches to getting the smoke smell out from the PO We have removed all of the carpet and treated the drapes with the Zep smoke odor remover. Also cleaning all of the hard surfaces with Awesome and Simple green. I think you can see from the pictures why we had a smoke odor problem. Next step is to paint the floor then install laminate flooring. Hope to have it at least useable by Memorial Day weekend.

Fabulous helper!

Love the pic of your Grandson. My 9 year old son has been awesome at "destruction" but not so thrilled with the construction after the destruction.

We ripped out the peel and stick tile floor in our Argosy yesterday and just finished installing a vinyl laminate from Home Depot. Happily, it was a breeze! We read somewhere on Airforums to install "sideways" instead of lengthways. Sideways made for a cleaner finished product in our trailer.

Good luck with your floors!
