As the one in the link is in Tucson, it might be worth your while to look. I have dealt with Oasis and they seem to be willing to tell the good and the bad about AS or Argosy.

Isn't the Tucson's 1974 of an age that doesn't have a gray tank? I know they can be added, but I would prefer one already there.

Oh wait. Does the blue strip mean it's an Excella? That means it might have a gray tank.

Call them and ask. Oasis has an 800 number.

At the following link the 1974 Standard Specs says "Polyethylene Holding Tank." The Excella Specs says "Sanitary Holding Tank" and "Auxilliary Wash Water Holding Tank." Everything I have read says only the 1974 Excella has a second holding tank and all models have it starting in 1975. But I could be wrong.

I just called Oasis and was told that the ad for the 1974 25' Airstream is wrong and the trailer is actually a 1971 and it definitely doesn't have a gray tank.

The 1976 Argosy definitely came with a gray water tank, so you're in luck there! The interior looks to be in good shape, mostly original. You'd want to inspect the tambour doors (along with everything else on your checklist) to make sure they operate smoothly. They can warp with age. They look really cool, though!
Of course, I'm partial to Argosy's. We've had our 1975 24' for about 4 years & absolutely love it. Good luck!

Thanks Sharon. The tambour doors are something I can understand and probably repair myself so I'm not too worried about that. It seems to be the rust and the axles that never get mentioned in ads.

My '74 26 ft Argosy has both grey and black water tanks. I think this one will as well. It looks clean and the price is in the ballpark. Good Luck!

Is your grey tank factory installed? I thought everything I've read told me not until '75 did Argosys have the second tank. I love your cabinets!! Thanks for your comments.

The Argosy layout is almost identical to my 75 TW. It has tanks but they are small. The trailer looks good in the pictures. I did not see any picture of the refrigerator, do you know if it is an original. Many times people replace them with a small electric which would be a concern if you boondock.

Richard, it does need a new propane fridge. But other than that, it looks and sounds pretty good. Even the axle situation looks pretty good in the picture.

New Refer?
Why do you say it needs a new refer? Is it missing? If it is still there I have posted a number of ways to check it out before laying out big bucks for a new one. Don't buy a new one yet.

Thanks TG Twinkie, but there isn't an RV fridge in the trailer, just a little electric one.
