Talking Another Texas Argosy

Aloha to all
I am the owner of a 1973 Argosy 24' Serial # 24T3V1584 manufacture date of Feb 1973 which I bought in Feb2002. I have been restoring it since!! I have a long way to go even though it was in good shape when I got it. The original owner took her to Canada and all three coast and a lot of places in between.
Last weekend I got the refigarator working in both modes and have started to removal and replacement of the counter tops, due to color.
The nest project is to get the water heater working, then put a heater in since the orig. owner removed it???
I have already stripped most of the Latex house paint off and will paint the caps silver and polish the rest.
I am looking for a front cough as the one I have doesn't apear to be original as it has a 2X4 under the back or maybe thats the way they came?
Projects waiting for funding: new beds, rock shield, new curved windows, R&R toilet and replace flooring under same, new brakes and shocks.
I used it last year at my deer lease (500 mile round trip) and it towed like a dream behind my 1999 F-250.
I have pictures but no scanner, so no way to post, sorry.

Does your cough have a 2X4 under the back rest to hold it up?
