Well, after perusing ads idly for a year or so, we found out we're not going to have to move for at least the next three years, and I got more serious about finding a travel trailer. I still didn't really expect to find something this nice that I could afford, and certainly not 12 miles from my house!
I'm the 3rd owner, and the 2nd owner has has the trailer for about 5 years and has done fantastic work bringing the trailer up to a usable state and then upgrading systems to make it very nice.
He's done upgrades like a WFCO converter, Parallax
12V distribution block with modern automotive-style fuses, etc. The water heater is newer than 1998, the tires are good, EVERYTHING works. I can't wait to camp, but now I need a truck (did I do that backwards? Trucks are everywhere, nice old Airstreams aren't so easy to find so I felt I needed to buy it when the opportunity presented itself.
