About my wheel wells?

My 24 ft 76 Argosy has some problems with the aluminum trim on my wheel wells. It seems the wood has seperated and there is a small gap where the set screws would be attached.(looks like origanal equipment) I am considering using JB weld and then simply screwing the set screws into there but am a bit worried about the vibration. assume the aluminum is a bit fragile. Is there replacements parts still available for this age?
Any expert suggestions for this rookie?

I am not sure I understand what the problem is here. Any chance of pictures?

Plastic wheel wells are available.

Sounds like you have a vibration problem.

Could be from unbalanced running gear and/or bad axles, or even enough miles on bad roads.

There is an article in Airstream Central, that can help you.

Or it could be because the aluminum trim is 33 years old. Are you refering to the trim around the outside of the wheel wells?

aluminum trim

I am working with the trimpieces. They are old but seem quite solid still. The trim has held up well except here and my fridge compartment door. The problem is getting it to attach as there is some space albeit small. I am taking my wheels off and will send some pics along which will illustrate the gaps. Am just waiting for the snow to melt as just recd about six inches and its almost gone now. Does anyone know if the trim is available anywhere? I will call Inland later this aft as well as they can probably help me.
