To All:
Yesterday I drove forward not knowing that the rear stabilizer jack was still down and I bent the unit & also broken the two aluminum triangluar parts. I called the trailer store & they can order an individual unit from Strombery Carlson 'L' brand in either 24" or 30" in the $50-$75 range. My neighbor offered to make the parts by wielding/etc. with steel if I wanted. I leaning towards buying a new one & saving my neighbor the time & effort. What do you recommend I do? Should I have it repaired in order to maintain the original unit that came with the Argosy?
Any Help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Bill

You know they still make the originals, right? You can get the one your trailer is supposed to have from any Airstream dealer. They are BAL, with the extended actuator screw.

Thanks for the info. I ordered the original stabilizing jack (BAL) thru Airstream Parts & will arrive in a week. Nice to keep original parts. Thanks again!
