It is looking great!!!

Did you paint the end caps? If so did you use a two part epoxy? I would like to paint ours in the rear lav and was wondering how hard it was to do.

Nick, if you are talking about the pic in post #24 I cleaned down the "yellow" parts with a yellow degreaser that I got from the nearest Dollar
General and then took a medium grit sand block and just kind of skuffed things up then I used the Krylon fusion for plastics spray paint in a gloss white and spayed about 3 full coats on it and I think that it came out really nice.....espically since it was nice and yellow before.....now it is a shiny glossy white....my mistake is that I did not tape off the line between the white celing and where the yellow end cap started. If you chose that route get the spray paint from "wallyworld" it is the cheapest..

more Interior work

This is the temp. cabinet top...since the big box store messed up TWICE and had to send back the special order that we bought and reordered.....anyway I think that my husband did great work on making a pantry/micro cabinet and an inclosure for the new fridge....now we still have some trim out work and another panel that goes on front of the fridge inclosure.

Mouth,
Looking good! I can not believe the progress, especially during the winter months. Is that a tankless hot water heater, where did you get it? Nice!

63silver....yes that is a tankless waterheater.....we pulled the original out and installed this one this week still not usable yet because we have to "vent" it so HOPEFULLY be finished and working by our Rally time....I can't wait to have a fully finished camper.....as that will ever be.....anyway we have to hold off on working on the next trip because we will be heading out to DC....then working on him again. Got the tankless waterheater from tankless.com it is the same one that Balgrn is using in his new project. I wanted the cadillac RV tankless but could only get the Dodge tankless if I wanted to buy anything else.

Can you tell me where you ordered your rockguard windows from? Also, did you order a specific item # or did they ask you for make/model/serial #?

We want to get some, but I'm a little leary. Also, I just LOVE the way our windows look without, but.............

Thanks. Beth

I am assuming that you are looking for rock guards to fit the Minuet in your profile. You won't find ready to install units for a Minuet. The starting point is the 3-piece rock guard set for a Modern, standard (non-widebody) Airstream (can be ordered from any Airstream dealer or service center). The outboard pieces for the wing windows will fit just fine -- it is the center section that will need to be modified -- the center window on the Minuet is about 7 or 8 inches narrower than the Airstream so it will need to be narrowed to fit your Minuet. Janet and Janet's Husband have an excellent set of instructions posted for this project. I am not handy so had my Airstream dealer handle the modifications.

Good luck with your search!

Kevin

Greetings Kevin

I have an Argosy 20 footer ( and an Argosy 52 footer.... see avatar...kidding) My interior remodel is almost finished. I am nutty about not adding too much weight. I kinda dread going to the scales now. My 20' came from the factory weighing a very light 2740 lbs. The sofa beds and dinette beds were rather flimsy though. I am curious about how much weight you are adding.

You will not be sorry to get those rockguards. We got ours salvage for about half price, but you can see where they have taken a couple of rock hits. Just imagine if those rock hits had been on those wonderful curved windows.....which are way more expensive than the rock guards.
