6.7 meter Argosy weight
Greetings Uncle Jack!
The published empty weight for the Minuet 6.7 Metre is 2,725 pounds with an empty hitch weight of 280 pounds. These weights do not include LP Gas, water in the water tank, nor the weight of any options such as awning(s), air conditioner, larger LP tanks, entertainment center, television antenna, etc.
I would expect a typical ready to travel weight slightly in excess of 3,250 pounds with a hitch weight approaching 600 pounds with a full water tank and full LP tanks.
My 6.0 Metre Minuet typically runs close to 3,100 pounds ready to travel with a bit more than 550 pounds on the hitch.
The figures that you have point to either a standard 22 foot Argosy or a Minuet that has seen significant modification. Does your coach have a single or tandem axle? -- I am wondering if it might be a 7.3 Metre or 24' given the weights (7.3 Metre has an empty weigh ot 3,820 pounds with an empty hitch weight of 510 pounds). If your coach is totally empty, it must have seen some modification. A standard Minuet will have vinyl-clad aluminum cabinetry throughout with plastic laminate tambour for the upper locker doors as well as the under-sink cabinet doors. The only floor covering originally available from the factory was carpeting in a short-shag length. A 6.7 Metre Minuet may have either plywood sub-floor of aluminum composite sub-floor (most appear to have plywood).
