That is a very nice "looking" unit, but I would want to know more about some of the mechanicals like the axle, brakes etc....having spent many an hour working on those aspects of mine. Pet Peeve...units with a nice shiny paint job, new carpet and drapes, but they completely over look the infastructure Price was not out of line for what was presented. More than I, personally would have paid, but not out of line for a decent small trailer.

I was watching that one.....10K....wow! It's nice, but like Wahoo said, who knows what is from the floor down. My 20 footer interior is almost done. I noticed that the outriggers were in bad shape under the shower floor rot....makes me wants to pull the belly pan and see EVERYTHING.....

Hi....Thank you for the nice comments on my 1972, 20' Argosy. This camper has surpassed my expectations. I understand the price, however, after restoring a 66 mustang and an early 70's VW camper van, I wanted the basics completed...Anyway, we trekked from NC. to Fla. without any problems (besides the 18 wheelers speeding by). The axle and brakes are fine. I will try to keep posted

The big drawback I see is the fact that the replacement fridge is not an RV fridge. It really goes a long way, (at least for me), when the resto is done 100% correct.
The mini-fridges designed for home use are not made to handle life on the road. I know because my first Argosy that I restored had a residential fridge in it that had shaken apart by the time I bought the trailer.
Usually once something like that has been replaced the trim and the mechanicals that were used with the RV fridge are long since altered and/or gone.

This unit still has its mechanics for a gas fridge. I will probably change out the electric (only) to a gas/electric so it will work when we are moving.tks

Hi...I am looking forward to your interior work...If you are close to Winter Haven (central), Fla..I will run to a highway to see your renovations. I think the sky is the limit to the possibilities of arrangements in my Argosy. I am just not sure which way to go????

Yes, that one is a sweet Argosy. Congratulations on your new baby. Argosies are really great trailers. I always liked them and wished they still made them.

Argosys rule. But, I'm a little partial. Welcome to the family. I still have a working original LP/Elect frig in my Argosy; however, I rarely use it and have installed a small electric frig that I use all the time. Cools faster and I can replace it about 12 times for what the original one would cost to replace. Of course I have a longer trailer that just the two of us use, so we don't make up the front bed and it fits nicely in up there. Have fun with your Argosy.

Welcome to the secret ultra exclusive Argosy 20 club. By the looks of it you're our new president! Very nice trailer

Best wishes,

Steve

Ok, yes, yes, yes....How about a cool Argosy rally (everyone invited though an emphasis on the Argosies). I would love to compare and get some advice.
