1976 Argosy 26 Window/Door Gasket Replacement

We have a '76 Argosy 26 that needs all the gaskets replaced on windows and the entrance door. Could anyone share their experience/process/materials used? Thanks!

The gaskets are the same used on similar year Airstream trailers. large bulb seal for the main door and storage compartment doors, and double lip seal for around the windows.

Inland RV has the right materials and will ship to you. You will need the dimensions of the windows you will be doing when you call. Use 3M adhesive (the black weatherstripping type). It's easiest to do with the windows off the trailer.

I would add that it is indeed easier if you remove the windows from the trailer. Removing the old weatherstrip adhesive is the real bugaboo. I found that a small air powered angle grinder with the scotch pad discs on it works really good. You need to be carefull with that but it sure beats scraping. Then, just clean up the bit of residue with solvent and your good.

I ordered 17' of main door seal from vintage trailer supply. Fast shipping and great products. Get the surface nice and clean. Bam! No more leaks.
