I just rescued a 1975 Argosy 26' trailer that has been sitting for a few years.
Has roof top ac, that is newer and told to be working. Towed very nicely from Lancaster to central NY. Trailer is now sitting in my dads barn, zip code 13814. Rear bath, center twins and front sofa. Road side front curved window needs replacing (plexiglass will work) and all cushions are there, but basically there to be used as patterns. No keys, and door lock needs replacing. Got it so it would not rot away, and so someone could restore it - I hate to see anything Airstream not be used how they are to be used - going down the road. I'll post some pictures that I took with my cell phone...and more later. Asking $1000. With some work, this will be a nice trailer. Needs to be painted again too.
Too bad it isn't a little further South, we are looking for a tandem-axle Argosy or Airstream to fix up and use in place of our 20' unit. Let me know if you have no takers, maybe we can work something out as far as meeting partway from here to there.
