And Zep, it was your tutorial that made me want to do this. I really like the way your installation looks. I'm not certain if the dome in my '63 has quite as much room as yours, but they make low-profile car speakers that should still fit.
I blame Jim for hijacking his own thread, what with the cool stereo cabinetry and all.
Thanks Brian. What I'm trying to figure out is how the top of the hamper frame attaches to the plastic shelf behind the toilet. If you lower the hamper lid, you'll see the top of the metal frame. I can't find any rivet holes that match both the frame and the shelf. Naturally, I didn't take a good picture of it before I took that frame out.

I just went out side the trailer and mine is just like yours. I have a little latch at the top of the hamper but none of my holes line up either. It just kid of sticks and we leave it. My wife wants me to get the bench part of the toilet. That is missing. I guess I will have to figure mine out also.
Brian, this is a pic of your rig that I took when I was at your place last November. Like a knucklehead, I cut the picture off just below the area I'm trying to look at. Can you take a pic of the same area, but move up just a few inches?

Got s'more stuff outta the garage. Shower door is finally finished. Had just enough of the Lexan from the rock guard left over to make it. I'd like to say I planned it that way, but just kinda stumbled into it.
Oh yeah, details if anybody needs 'em.

I see what looks like a custom built control panel in this photo. Can you furnish details on how you wired it up and what type of gauges and switches you used? Does anyone else have any details about what they did with their control panel? Mine is in the front overhead area and needs at least some rebuilding.
I'll send you a pm Malconium so as not to hijack the thread.
No, please hijack! I'm always interested in seeing how others put a good idea to work! Seriously feel free to post here, I wanted to hear the answer as well.

The previous owner was (perhaps still is) a dental equipment Repair tech. He gathered gauges and built the box and wired it all up. There is a switch for everything from the water pumps to the night lights he installed. It is amazingly well done. Here is the front view. and a view of the wiring: You may note a piece of paper in the box. He wrote a schematic for everything so I would know what everything was.
The panel itself is a little famous as it was featured in an issue of Airstream Life.
Thanks for noticing it. If you want even more detail of my whole trailer click on the link in my signature.
See you down the road.
He replied asking to post up my schematic. It really isn't a schematic per se, more of a this switch is for the light. This is the wire I wanted to run to the inverter. etc.
