Anybody interested in free stuff?

I have lots of bits and pieces left over from the bedroom and bathroom. Some can be mailed/shipped, some cannot (small vs very large).

I have been the recipient of a couple of items that could never be found at the usual suppliers, so I thought I would "pay-it-forward" if possible.

I'll post a few pictures later. If there is a particular item you need, let know. No promises, okay? But I'll see what I can do.

I am looking for the bar that goes across the top of the divider between the kitchen and bedroom area. The accordion door rides in the groove on the bottom of this bar. They come in two sizes. One is around 2 inches tall and the other is about 6 inches tall. I am looking for the two inch one.

I'm reusing that piece, but I have a piece similar that I have no idea what it could be used for. I'll post a picture in a bit and see if that may work for you.

I need a bathroom sink strainer/plug. I may be able to use the long horizontal light from bedroom bulkhead.

It's fate, I suppose. Every time I try to work on something important on the Airstream project, outside stuff gets in the way. So here are responses to the posts so far......

Richard, the two extra pieces that I have, don't have the groove in the bottom of the bar. I'll poke around and see if I have anything that might work. Sorry man, I've enjoyed your posts here for years and hope I can help you out.

Camper, please understand that the spirit of this is to provide folks with items that can't normally be found, for "free". I wouldn't want these items to wind up "for sale" elsewhere. I'm sure you understand. I'll have a few things for sale later on. Please feel free to bid on them.

Luma, the strainer you are looking for can be found at HD/Lowes. The one that I had was all corroded out (along with the drain). I replaced it with a drain/strainer from Lowes made for a bar sink. I can give you more info if you need it.

The light, on the other hand, is yours. Even has a couple of working bulbs in it. PM me how you want to get it and it'll be on the way in a few days (see my next post).

Now, all that being said, I'm going to be out-of-pocket for a few days due to family things. This is a thread that will be on-going. So feel free to PM me or post here and I'll catch up as soon as possible.

Tim, which seams are you trying to cover? I have lots of that trim left over that had covered the aluminum trim pieces in the bed and bath. Most of what I have is the brown stuff for the extrusion. Maybe a picture would help.

Luma, is this the light you're looking for? Do you need the entire assembly or just the metal light portion?

While it's on my mind, the fridge is available. Obviously, it can't be shipped. If somebody needs a small part or two off that, let me know. It's the full sized Dometic of that era. I can get the model number if anybody needs it.

The way-past-ugly orange/yellow shower door inserts are also available. The plastic inserts only.

Most of the bulkheads are being replaced, but again it's not likely they can be shipped (and even less likely anybody willl need those rascals).

I could use one of your lens for your lights. You have one you took a picture of.

Richard,
I think I have what you're looking for (see pic). It's from a '74 Ambassador. You're welcome to it if you want it.
