While poking around the web for a similar subject, I learned that the YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington in southern Ontario has renovated a 34' Airstream into what they call their Career Cruiser. It's equipped with computers and other employment-related aids to help those in need find a job.
My Dream Job - YMCA Career Development and Learning Centre
Neat. Not only does it provide a service to job-seekers, it also provides helps with visualizing a bright blue A/S, if anyone's interested in painting theirs a funky colour.
I came across this while I was trying to find information on an Airstream that the University of Toronto's Biology Dep't owned back in the late 60's. A colleague of mine was a PhD student back then and spent a few summers travelling around northern Ontario towing it, but can't give me any more information on it. Don't know what happened to it - anyone have any info on that?
